Olivia never fails to make a compelling world of fantasy and the build of the world continues to amaze me. The slow burn of Lore and Fallon's romance throughout Book 1 and Book 2 was promising, every second of their love in this book was worth waiting for. The way the conflict and start of the war builds up is exciting yet makes me anxious for Fallon. I can't wait to start the next book in the series and I look forward to where this story carries on in the next book.
This book was frustrating. I really began to dislike the FMC. Something about her bugs me. She isn’t very smart either.

This is one of those books that I don’t think I’d love if it weren’t for the fact that I am totally enamored with Lore.
SO good. The spice was amazing. The bonding links between Fallon and Lorcan is just like ACOTAR. Love that aspect. The plot has gotten so good. Cannot wait to read the next books.

3.5. Still a mediocre book, but on the better end of mediocre this time. Again so much potential. But it’s def better than the first. The main characters relationship is def one of the more interesting aspects of the book once the author turned up the heat. I however struggle with how clueless our heroine continues to be.
