4.5/5 stars!

I was so excited for this book after the first one and it did not disappoint. Olivia Wildenstein is very quickly becoming a must read author for me. The romance. The tension. The mystery. The everything. I loved it. But that cliffhanger ending though, UGH.

One word. Frustrating. Fallon continues to be extremely naive and it's made worse by Lore not telling her anything- literally nothing at all. The miscommunication is strong in this and makes for a head-banging read. When he does finally decide to clue her in it becomes much better and the plot development is good. I usually love spice but found it relatively boring and repetitive. I found myself skipping it a bunch. Talking about the things I loved. Fallon's dad. What a cutie. We love him. The kingdom is really great and a good concept. The side Characters continued on being a lot of fun. I quite liked the cliff hanger ending. Despite my annoyances, I'm keen to continue reading and am curious to see how it ends!

I still enjoyed this story because of the background for Lore and MC's family, but she got SOOO whiny in this. I'll read the next one because I'm too interested in the Shabbes.
