This took me a bit of warming up, I *almost* abandoned it, but I ended up becoming quite engrossed.

Well written, evocative characters - who wouldn't root for these scrappy little guerilla gardeners?

Gonna have to process the ending for a WHILE though, jeez.

Wow what a ride. Great character development and the was it all builds to cumulation is mind blowingly impressive. Admittedly didn’t catch the Macbeth reference despite the title lol but it had me reading the “spark notes” to familerize myself again with the plot. Who is Macbeth is a great question to ask

This book has a really unique premise and lots of parallels to Macbeth. Cleverly written - the pace starts very slow but speeds up in the final third dramatically.
