Third book by Crossan that I've read. And I loved this one as much as the others. Love her style of writing, it's so precise and so beautiful. And she always has these heart breaking topics in her books. In this book a girl runs away from her abusive dad. She has nowhere to go but she finds a shed where she can sleep. The shed belongs to a house that is lived by this old woman with memory issues and somehow they start living together. While they live their lives, the story of Allison unwinds and we understand why she had to run away.
