Okay….hear me out….I ALMOST DNF’ed at ~50% because I was bored. It was giving Haunting Adeline but religious which is not normally my jam. BUT when Briony finally started to help Aero and they actually developed a consensual relationship, I enjoyed it so much more. Aero is in my top 5 book boyfriends ❤️ I love the way he empowered Briony and helped her come into her own. He gave her all the tools to save him knowing the day would come. I loved all the symbolism, metaphors, etc relating to religion as well. I would def read this book again…or maybe just the last half lmao
This was a struggle for me to get into. The only thing that saved it was me listening to it on audible because of Joe Arden. He can read anything and it be amazing. He’s the only reason I was able to finish it.

This book is going to have a chokehold on me for a long time. Jesus Christ, thank the lord for Jescie Hall for delivering the most delicious man known to man kind. Aero psychotic, obsessive and dominant in all the best ways. Briony matching him with her own strength and newfound freedom. This book is a masterpiece and is in a league of its own. Each page left you wanting more and more of this story and don’t even get my started on the sex. Oh my god the sex
I just can’t explain what this book did to me. Sometimes you just need a dirty book in your life and if you do? Pick this book up. I loved the story, I loved the smut and I loved the characters and their development. I think everyone needs a little sik luv now and again.
The writing drove me bananas. Pretentious and trying to hard to be poetic...

Aero is as dark as they come when it comes to a stalker romance and Briony is the sweet little innocent until she wasn't. She comes into her own as a strong badass FMC with Aero by her side for all of it.
