I just can’t explain what this book did to me. Sometimes you just need a dirty book in your life and if you do? Pick this book up. I loved the story, I loved the smut and I loved the characters and their development. I think everyone needs a little sik luv now and again.
The writing drove me bananas. Pretentious and trying to hard to be poetic...

This was something else and I was here for it.
I feel like I need to go into my confessional to confess my sins after this book. 🥵
Aero is as dark as they come when it comes to a stalker romance and Briony is the sweet little innocent until she wasn't. She comes into her own as a strong badass FMC with Aero by her side for all of it.
Not for the faint-hearted, so check those TW.

Struggled to not DNF. It was well written, very consistent in its theme. The religion got boring in the middle, the end part kind of redeemed that. It's also just like almost constant drawn out spicy scenes. I like me some spice but it felt like every other scene was spicy.
I went into this after seeing so much good hype and I'm very disappointed. I have so many issues with this book. Y'all hyped this up way too much for me.
This book could have been about 20 chapters shorter. I'm not one to complain about spice in a book because the kinkier the better. But we literally lost the plot around ch. 33 and didn't get it back until around ch. 51.
Aero literally stabs someone in the eye for looking at Briony and in the next 20 minutes let's someone watch him fuck her... And then makes her dry hump this other man until they both cum... Just... Make it make sense. Like, this whole part of the book did nothing to progress the story, they literally walked away with no information.
It irritates me how easily Briony just gave up on her beliefs. She had absolutely no conviction. All it took was some roses in her trash can and a Bible verse stabbed to her nightstand and she forgot all her morals and just folded in the snap of Aero's fingers, like she hadn't been training her whole life to be steadfast in her purity. She didn't even put up a fight. Didn't even question it.
The birth control? What? Her religion doesn't allow birth control, but she just had this intuitive notion that she was going to need it? But she ran out before Aero took her to his cabin... Meaning she was off it the whole week (two weeks? There's never a clear time frame.)... But she makes her own rules? She really respects her religion doesn't she?

That Sik Luv was such a dark and twisted romance.
I wasn't sure how I was going to like this book. But I ended up loving it.
Aero is such a dark and unhinged masterpiece. Set off to kill Briony for being such a strong willed woman. For being too dominating in a "mans world"
Who knew that Aero would take her and mold her into his other half, someone who wants to right the wrongs. To take down the system that broke them both.
