wtf did i just listen to 💀💀💀 downloaded the audiobook because ✨️Joe Arden✨️ but wth going from Priest to this is am insane choice on my part lol. I like the whole dark side of religion /dismantling the system plot. Hated the 2nd part of the eplilogue though. The book is full of triggers so make sure you check those... or don't if you want a surprise 🤣🤣 The spice scenes were absolutely insane and I tried really hard to ignore that the fmc is 18. Decent book I guess idk I'm still confused about what I read.

I listened to this on audio and Joe Arden didn’t disappoint. He absolutely embodied our MMC Aero. Aero is pretty twisted and unhinged, however it stems from trauma at a young age. Our FMC, Briony (narrated by Desiree Ketchum), is a “good virgin Christian girl” who is trying to earn a spot in the church but becomes the object of Aero’s obsession after he’s hired to assassinate her. Instead, he begins to train her to protect herself while planning to use her to expose and destroy the corrupt members of the church. This book is heavy on the subject of religion so I don’t think this book will be for everyone, but overall I enjoyed it.
