I really enjoyed this book! I loved the second chance romance of Sofie and Theo! Hearing what she went through was heartbreaking but the landmark family building her back up is amazing. This series just keeps getting better! Can’t wait for the next!

I loved this so much. Second chance romances are some of my favorite and this was no different. Sofie and Theo’s relationship has gone through it. After she up and left 8 years ago, Sofie returns to Landmark Mountain after her dad passes. She is determined to tell Theo everything and she wants him back.

Theo isn’t so keen on the idea when all he knows is she just disappeared in the middle of the night when they had planned a life together. He is not quick to forgive her, but he is still so protective of her and in love with her.

So happy these two got their happy ending

Small town romance? Childhood friends turned lovers? Second chance? Sign me up!

Someday is book two in the Landmark Mountain Series, it can be read as a standalone. This was my first time reading a book by Willow Aster and it won't be my last. Eight years ago Sophie left Theo in the middle of the night, only leaving a note, no explanation. This caused Theo to become heartbroken. Years later, Sophie has returned because her dad died. The first time Sophie saw Theo after being gone for 8 years, it broke my heart because you could tell she still loved him, but Theo wanted nothing to do with her.

This story was sweet, beautiful, and emotional. I love the way the two love each other and help each other heal. When Sophie finally told Theo why she left, it broke my heart and the way Theo changed after that, aww.

This was a great book! I can't wait to read more by Willow Aster.

Just no. So she was celibate for years and waited for him but he was sleeping around and said it's just because he "couldn't get her off of his mind"? Why is always like this? I truly hate this aspect of second chance romance. I'd say skip this one.

Someday Arc Review

Grab your tissues because this story will leave your heart full and your tear ducts empty! This story definitely had some heaviness to it. Sofie has been through the wringer multiple times and deeply betrayed by a close loved one. In return, this left her no choice other than to run. To run away from her one and only love, Theo. Eight years later he see’s his red temptress back in Landmark and has no idea how to feel about her sudden and unexplained departure all those years ago and whether or not she is going to do it again? If you know me, you know I LOVE a second chance romance. Something about reading their love past and present does something to my romantic heart. Add in some complex and all too real situations? Absolutely devouring that story and that’s exactly what I did with this. Sofie is so dang strong. Reading about her situation and her flashbacks not only made me so angry for her, but so uncontrollably sad. Theo was and always would be her most stable rock and after some hard conversations, he shows up for his girl. He is the biggest marshmallow. Even with a heavy topic discussed in this story, there was so much brightness from the Landmark family, Sofie’s Aunts & the townspeople. This will definitely put you in your feels but leave you feeling so happy for Sofie and Theo by the end.

The amount of hurt and healing in this book was quite the change from the first in the series. The unraveling and sharing of trauma for Sophie was a roller coaster journey for her. Theos journey of dealing with the hurt Sophie caused was not smooth sailing by any means. Aside from the hurt, the amount of our love and adoration that these two had for each other was unparalleled. They both grew so much and finally got to enjoy life and love with each other which was so precious. I love this family, the laughs, the spice and the heart of this series and cannot wait to visit Landmark again.

I really really enjoyed this one! The secrets that Sofie was keeping were heartbreaking but I do appreciate that there was no additional blame thrown around for her choices. I also wasn't expecting this book to have such a heavy theme given the lightness of the first book in this series. I still really enjoyed it, and as always the author's writing tugs at my heart and hits me in all the best spots. Theo really is a one in a million man but I also liked how the mutual trauma was addressed. The explanation did not erase years of heartbreak and they learned to move forward together. Can't wait for Wyatt's book!
