Childhood best friends and former high school sweethearts Sofie Copewell and Theo Landmark haven't seen each other since she abruptly left town the summer after their high school graduation. She left him a note but no real explanation for her decision to abandon the future they'd planned together. Eight years later, Sofie returns to Landmark Mountain after the death of her father, determined to make amends for the way she left. But first she'll have to confront the ghosts of her past and regain Theo's trust, which proves to be easier said than done.
Theo and Sofie's story went in a completely unexpected direction, and while it was heartbreaking at times, I loved it. Sofie was keeping so many secrets and I couldn't wait for them all to be revealed. Once she explained herself, her actions were completely understandable, but it was also understandable for Theo to find it difficult to trust that she wouldn't leave him again. I appreciated how openly they communicated about their fears and worked together to overcome them.
Overall, this story gave me all the feels and I highly recommend it for readers of angsty/emotional contemporary romance. I look forward to the next book of the series.

This book had my emotions all over the place! Willow does such a good job of bringing the emotions out of you through her words. There was a heavy topic throughout but Sofie and Theo managed to make it through their struggles. Overall such a good read!

This might be my favorite second chance romance. It drew me in from the first page and got better and better. The writing was excellent, the characters were very well developed, there was mystery, secrets revealed, and so much healing.
Sofie broke Theo’s heart when she ran from Landmark Mountain eight years ago, but now she’s back and it doesn’t take long for Theo to realize there was a good reason she fled. Sofie and Theo have a lot of hurdles to jump in order to find their way back to each other. Sofie has to face her past and reveal all her secrets to Theo, and Theo has to come to terms with those secrets.
I loved Sofie from page one. She was a strong character and it definitely came through the page. She loved Theo and never gave up on her dream of returning to Landmark Mountain to get her life back. Her story was tragic and heartbreaking but it showed her strength and the love she had for Theo.
Theo struggled with his feelings for Sofie. He loved her but also hated that she left. He felt like he wasn’t good enough for her but also blamed himself for not noticing what she was going through. His struggle to not only accept that his love for Sofie never died and then to accept she wasn’t going to leave him again was almost as heartbreaking as Sofie’s past.
I loved Sofie and Theo. Their story was emotional but they got ever they wanted in the end. I loved Theo’s relationship with his siblings and the way the Landmark family opened their hearts back up to Sofie. I also loved getting a glimpse into both Sofie and Theo’s memories. And I absolutely lost it when the reason for the title was finally revealed at the end. I love this series!
Someday was so sweet! I have been craving a childhood friends-to-lovers story that actually made me feel something! This book broke my heart and then made it so much better again! After being separated for 8 years, Sofie is back in town. Theo refuses to let her back into his life and his heart when she’s been gone without a trace since they were younger. Sofie’s past kept her from happiness with Theo before but everything is different now and she’s determined to be with him again.
First, I just want to say that I am a huge fan of Theo! Omgoodness I love him so much! A cute vet who’s considerate and compassionate, that’s him. After Sofie leaves, he’s left trying to figure out what went wrong and he becomes jaded and bitter. I admittedly still loved jaded, grumpy Theo just as much as I love sweet, thoughtful Theo. There was so much adoration in his words and his actions when it comes to Sofie. His big, big heart made me swoon over this man!
Second, Sofie is so strong for enduring all that she dealt with growing up! She made a new life for herself and finds a way to go after what she wants most, Theo. I can feel her pain because it was so clear that she loves him so much! She opens her heart and her pain up to him with a vulnerability I don’t think I could muster. I wanted her redemption more than I’ve wanted redemption for any character before! I was rooting for Sofie and Theo from the beginning!
Finally, the chemistry between these two characters was high and that spice was HOT! I loved them together! This couple is perfect for each other and I loved their HEA! I was definitely misty-eyed in that epilogue!
I cannot wait for the next book but first I’m gonna have to go back to read book one! I highly recommend this book to all my second chance romance readers and small town romance lovers! Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for the advanced copy!

Book Review:
Book: Someday
Author: Willow Aster
This is book 2 in the Landmark Mountain series. I devoured book 1 and was really excited when I got an arc of this book. I also devoured this one, I read it in a day!
Theo and Sofie were childhood friends turned lovers. They were everything to each other. They were always making plans for their future. They were going to live in Landmark and build their dream house. But one night, Sofie leaves town and only leaves a note for Theo telling him she couldn't stay. Theo is heartbroken and still hasn't recovered all of these years later. Now, Sofie is back in town and Theo doesn't know what to do, he wants answers but he is so angry and hurt he's not sure he can be around her.
What I loved about this book:
*I loved Theo so much. I could feel the hurt he felt with Sofie leaving. He was so sweet, even though he was angry with her. He wanted to stay away, but he couldn't at the same time. You could tell that he had always loved her and still loves her very much.
*Sofie was such a strong female character. Her reasons for leaving were absolutely gut-wrenching. She had to survive a lot in her life to make it back to Landmark and back to Theo. She had so many secrets that she had kept from Theo and when she finally reveals them you are just in awe of her.
*I love the Theo's family. I love a good book with a fun family dynamic and this series has that. They are there for each other and in each other's business all of the time.
*I love the small town of landmark, the townspeople are so crazy and so invested in each other's lives. I said when I read book 1 that they reminded me of Stars Hollow and I stand by that! Gossip travels faster than the speed of light there!
This book is much heavier than the first book, so I would recommend checking TW before reading. It is such a beautiful story of soul mates and a second chance at love. It will break your heart and then put it back together again!

Sofie and Theo grew up together and planned to be together forever until Sofie just left one day without saying anything but a goodbye note. Now, 8 years later she has returned to town to win back the love of her life. Only problem is that a Theo isn’t going to make it easy for her because his heart is still shattered.
I LOVED this book. I have read a few of Willow’s book and this one that follows Sofie and Theo has to be her best one yet..and dare I say spiciest?! This is book 2 in the series and I do recommend reading them in order because it follows a family and the siblings are all close together but it can be read as a stand alone. I can not wait until the next one with Wyatt and Marlow! 4.78⭐️
Thank you Willow and team for the ARC in return for my honest review

This book was book two in the series and followed the brother Theo. He and Sofie had a relationship when they were growing up but she ended up leaving without saying goodbye. He never forgot about her but was still mad she left without saying a word. So when she arrives back after eight years away Theo is on edge as he doesn’t know how to trust her anymore.
The tension between these two was absolutely amazing as this is a second chance romance. It was a while since I read one and it reminded me that I absolutely love second chance romance. The book is also told out of two point of views both Theo and Sofie so you really see how they are dealing with coming back together.
TW: Unfortunately I had to knock my rating as in the end of the book there was an HP reference.
