THIS IS A TRUE SECOND CHANCE

I loveeee second chance romances and this one finally got it right!!! A good reason for her to leave - check! No loopholes for her to come back - check! Them both deciding not to waste time being upset and learn how to move forward - check! Spice - check!!!!!!!!! Theo is the sweetest man and I loved reading his and sofies story!!!

Sofie’s trauma was a lot. Theo was kind of a jerk until she told him a bit about why she left, and thankfully he changed his attitude towards her immediately after. He wasn’t celibate for the 8 years she’d been gone, but I feel like that’s unrealistic to expect from anyone. It kind of felt too cheesy that she WAS. She never reached out to him after she disappeared, he looked for her, waited for a few years, and never had anything serious. He was definitely still hung up on her. I think it would’ve been worse if he’d had a serious emotional relationship with someone else. I usually don’t like second chance, but this one was fine.

Theo and Sofie have been best friends since they were kids, and then they were inseparable. Until Sophie ended it and disappeared for 8 years. Now she’s back in town and claims she’s staying. She destroyed Theo once, he can’t allow that to happen again. Such a good book, fierce love, family trauma, insecurities. Spice.

Oh my I think this was by far my favorite second chance book this month. LOVED it the chemistry between these characters were unreal. When I found out why she left it broke me

This just rushed up to the top of my list of recently read books for so many reasons. Maybe it’s the life long love story that finally made it to the happily ever after. But for sure it’s because there was no 3rd act break up and I’ve fallen in love with this family and their antics

This was a great small town, second chance romance. I usually struggle with second chance but Willow wrote this story so well. I looked forward to the flashbacks to understand more of the story. I loved how Theo and Sofie worked through the hurt, loved it didn’t take a long time. This book has some very deep emotional trauma. Helps you to understand why Sofie did what she did. I’m glad things worked out. Glad Sofie is going to turn all that trauma into something for good.

I loved Sof & Theo!
Such an incredibly moving story.
