This book, no this whole series have just warms my heart. I love love. But love is not your stereotypical person meets person, person falls in love with other person, persons live happily ever after together. Love is messy because people are mess. Love is hard work because it doesn't just happen, it is something you work toward. This book is a perfect example of that, this series is a great example of that. People fall in love, but people are perfect. Yes people can be perfect for each other, but people still aren't perfect. People mess up, people have to grow and people need to learn their own lessons. If you don't take that away from this book, at least you get a great love story. And I love love.

It’s finally here! The last book in the series of romantic awesome.

Isla has been in love with Josh from her first semester. She’s the middle child and living far away from home in Paris. Isla is the perfect honor roll student who has never broken the rules. I wish I would have liked Isla. I did enjoy much like in all of Stephanie Perkins books that the characters are realistic with flaws and real personalities. Isla was insecure and scared about who she was throughout the story and tries to overcome that which I love since I love characters that grow.

Josh has uncaring controlling political parents. Everyone expects nothing from him and so he gives everyone nothing. He skips school and just tries to enjoy as much life as possible. He travels all over the world and draws, creating a comic book of his life.

Isla and Josh were an interesting couple. Both of them are insecure and have issues, but they’re cute together. They traveled together and became better characters for it. They both encounter issues, but it becomes obvious they’re better off together.

All of our amazing characters from past books made their way into this book which made this story all the better.

I honestly wanted to like this story but I felt it really fell short after comparing it to the rest of the series. Isla’s character wasn’t as great nor was this story as compared, which was disappointing.

Really amazing. A gorgeous trilogy that has real love in the pages. The crushes and the confusion.

Great book! The series got better as it went on.. of course! Now there aren't anymore. I really enjoyed Stephanie Perkins' writing style. I also enjoyed how the characters from the other two books were mentioned, but it didn't seem forced. All of the books connected in a great way!

SpoilerIsla has had a crush on Josh since freshman year. She has always been too scared to talk to him. One day, she was forced to talk to him when they were in the same place at the same time. Isla didn't talk to him when they got back to school. They avoided each other and then Josh finally asked her to go on a walk with him. They began talking and their relationship happened. The book felt like a true struggle with first love and what they are going to do after high school.

Out of the three, Isla and the Happily Ever After felt the most emotional and introspective. Isla is shy, overthinking, and deeply insecure which made her super relatable, even if a little frustrating at times. Her relationship with Josh was intense, fast-paced, and filled with all the highs and lows of first love.

What I appreciated most was how raw it felt. It wasn’t just about romance, it was about self-worth, fear, and learning how to love yourself, too. Josh had more depth here than I expected, and their chemistry was sweet and believable.

Some parts dragged or felt overly angsty, but overall, it gave me the most feels of the trilogy. A tender, heartfelt wrap-up that shows love isn’t always a straight line, but it can still be real, messy, and worth it.

I really wanted to like this book. I felt in love with Anna and Lola. Sadly, the world is not a wish-granting factory.
I felt no sympathy towards Lola and Josh.
Everything is so rushed up that when I realised what has been going on, they are already fighting. I have to confess that one favourites parts of the book was when they broke up and they are miserable, because in that moment I saw a flick of their own personalities.
I gave two stars because I loved when Lola and Anna appeared. I loved the proposal even if I am not a fan of young people getting married.
