I received an e-galley of Love, That's an Understatement by Fujimomo from Kodansha Comics via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Such an interesting meet cute between the two characters in this story. I love a good shojo manga and I really enjoyed the development of these two in this one thus far. I'm looking forward to seeing how they both develop, as they're set up to be so different from one another.

No, stop, why was this so cute?! I'm loving the vibes right now, and I like the relationship that Zen and Risa have and how they balance each other out. Zen doesn't want or expect Risa to change how she is, and he's just so adorable... Can't wait to watch them grow (and see how their relationship blossoms)

This manga is incredibly cute! I enjoyed reading this first volume so much and finished it rather quickly. The characters were all so likeable especially the main characters and the friend group. The art style is TO DIE FOR! It’s definitely one of my favourites. I will definitely be on the look out for the second volume on NetGalley and will even purchase this manga because it really does have potential!
