the story was very compelling, even if the formatting made it difficult to read i.e. the lack of chapters. i know it’s short, but not having an official and easy “resting/stopping place” made it hard to get through for some reason for me.

No 21st century reader can enjoy this book in good conscience. Perhaps radical for its time and instrumental in the development of the modern novel, it is now only good for a classroom discussion and nothing more.
