I decided to start this series after finishing Breaking Mr. Cane and reading about some big bad El Jefe.
How bad I not read this book sooner??? Once I started, I seriously could not put it down. It was 6am by the time that I finally let my eyes close, and that was because I had reached the final page of the book!
Passion and Venom is dark and it will have certain elements that won’t be ok with everyone. If you don’t care and can read dark shit, this book is for you.
I mean, what can we expect from a Mafia story? You know it’s going to push the envelope and I’m so glad it did.
I loved Gianna! That is one strong woman who refuses to take crap from anyone and everyone. Her circumstances kinda really blew for a while, but she adapted and just made shit work.
Draco Molina... that is one crazy motherf*cker! I was pretty terrified of him, but at the same time, extremely turned on. Lol, something must be wrong with me.
This book starts off exactly how the blurb explains. A wedding that doesn’t even last an hour.
Gianna and Toni are driving away from the church when the Mexican cartel interferes and kills Toni right in front of Gianna... where all his blood splashes on her $34,000 dress. **shudders**
From that point on, Gianna is taken and held hostage until El Jefe comes back from whatever business trip and figures out how to handle the new wife of Trigger Toni.
And, that is where our story really starts.
I already started book 2 Venom and Ecstasy because I must know what is going to happen.
This book ended with a pretty Big Bang!
