Matthew Perry is raw, uncut and completely honest in his autobiography.  Big giant trigger warning, read with care. I cried several times throughout, but as a person with a family full of addiction and as a huge fan of Matthew it only seemed right to read it.

Prepare yourself for a journey, not an easy one. But one that leads to sobriety, faith, and redemption.

RIP Mattman

I was impressed by the writing in this book - I would not have expected this standard of writing from a celebrity memoir (although it makes sense as Perry does write plays and screenplays). The audiobook is definitely the way to go for this book in my opinion, as Matthew Perry reads it with such emotion and honesty and for the ‘Chandler’ lines gives the exact inflection. He also just has a good reading voice. The timeline could at times be confusing, but for the most part I followed easily and flew through it in less than 24 hours. Emotional, extremely open and honest, moving. I loved it.
