He can kill 'innocent' people FOR HER. But he can't kill HER knowing damn well she's a traitor?? (Maybe she isn't but they believe she is?!)
He's a double standard bitch.
Also Nate is fucking sus to me for some reason??
Is he the back-stabber?
The Mc calls the mc naive. Oh sweetie, she isn't naive, she's deadass STUPID.
I'll never be able to understand what the fuck goes through her head. She does things when she shouldn't. She doesn't do things when she should. She's more immature than a ten year old.
I feel like everything is too repetitive. Somehow after the whole book, we are still at the same spot.
Everything happens at the end of the book, Within those last few pages. Before that, we are just following a routine and nothing else.
It's too obvious that the author WANTED to make it as a series because the story is dragged on so unnecessarily. In the last few pages, something happens all of a sudden and then the book ends in a cliffhanger. The whole pattern is so obvious.

I’ll be honest, between the first and the second book in this series, this wasn’t my favorite. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite. HOWEVER…. I’m still very much invested in Declan and Braelynn’s story, ESPECIALLY with that cliffhanger! I can’t wait to find out how book 3 ends!
Holy hell this book was intense!!! Winters really knows how to end a book on a cliffhanger wow. I seriously cannot wait to read book 3!!
I’ll Kiss You Twice by WWinters is book two in the Shame on You trilogy. We know my love for her writing but this was another level. Ratings: ⭐️5/5 +
This is a great addition to the first book. It’s haunting and sad. I love the feelings that you get to feel from both Braelynn and Declan.
It’s all a little confusing though and nothing is really answered. All the questions that you have in book one remain. And maybe even a few more.
Plus so much could have been solved and avoided if they just opened the lines of the communication.
But I’m looking forward to reading the conclusion of the story. I received this book as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received this book as an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received an ARC for an honest review. Thank you to the editor and author. All thoughts and feelings are my own.
I immediately picked this up as soon as I received it. I have to resolve cliffhangers with a quickness.
I gotta say, this one was a more emotionally charged addition to the trilogy. It was a lot to take in. I read Haunting Adeline and Zade treated Addie in that book better than Declan was treating Braelynn....and that's saying something. Like Declan, give her some grace. Not trying to compare the two, but it was first dark romance that came to mind with a mmc that is POSSESSIVE AF. I was feeling for Braelynn and her internal conflicts of love vs. fear. I want them to work (because this is a fantasy and not reality), but I would also root for her if she leaves for good. I just want her to be okay.
I really liked the writing; I was getting so immersed into the story that it was a ice bucket over me when it was over.
A part of me feels bad. I don't know how long it took the author to write this, but I've been eating it up in hours.
