This was also a quick and easy read, I found the pacing to be consistent throughout the book. I found both main characters to be likeable and relatable, and although their relationship happened very fast I found their relationship to be genuine. I love how they communicated with each other, they were quick to set expectations/boundaries but were also willing to compromise when needed. I loved that Tyler treated Savannah like a princess. From sending a cleaning crew to her house to hiring a private chef to ensure she eats balance meals, Tyler made sure Savannah knew he loved her. That being said this was also very insta-lovey, Tyler fell for Savannah pretty much from the moment he saw her in Vegas and after spending a night together and telling eachother their deepest secrets/fears, Tyler knew Savannah was the one. It just felt too out there??

thank you Brittany for giving me an arc of your book.
I canβt stress enough how cute this book is!!
Savannah is a cheerleader, and she and her cheer team are going to have fun in Vegas, where she mets Tyler, a football player of her team. after a few drinks, they get married.. in Vegas. the real problem? everyone knows cheerleaders and football players of the same team canβt talk to each other, and especially canβt marry!!
Brittanyβs writing is super easy and fun to read. this book is cute but is also super spicy (we love it here). the main characters are really easy to like and their chemistry and tension is π₯. Sav is a shy girl, and the confidence she gains during the book is awesome. Ty is the ultimate book boyfriend, I love him (wishing there were men like that in real life). itβs adorable to see their relationship growing, and to see Tyler losing his play boy posture to Savannah.
the tropes:
β§ fake marriage
β§ forbidden romance
β§ forced proximity
β§ football player x cheerleader
β§ golden retriever mmc
β§ he falls first and harder
if youβre looking for a short, smutty and fluffy book, this one is for you.

Savannah and Tyler were so fun to read about. Their story is very insta-love and fast burning for the most part. I enjoyed the cheerleading and football scenes we got throughout the book too. I'm honestly excited to see who the next couple will possibly be.

[i received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review]
this was very much an insta love - at least on his side. i think this is normally an unpopular opinion, but insta-love really doesnβt bother me as long as the couple seems to have good chemistry. thankfully, these two did have really good chemistry (at least imo)! i think it helps that the insta-love is mainly on his side. i liked that she was hesitant about falling for him because of the issues it would cause for her. sheβs like, βoh no, what have we done?!β while he is over the moon like, βiβve married the perfect woman. iβve known her less than 24 hours, but she is the perfect woman.β they got drunk married in vegas, and he though that was the best thing heβs ever done in his life. i loved how protective she got of him after a few times hanging out. she was ready to beat his brother up for saying one wrong thing about tyler. tyler really wanted the best for savannah and did everything he could to support her and care for her!!! you could tell he really respected her. overall, it was a cute, super fast read.

Thank you to Brittany Kelley and her team for providing the ARC!
My review is in no way influenced by this.
This book is perfect for you if you love:
β’accidental marriage
β’secret/forbidden romance
β’instant attraction
β’a golden retriever boyfriend
β’he falls first
β’no third act breakup
I am not too big of a romance reader but every once in a while I like to indulge in some sports romance and this definitely did it for me.
Savannah and Tylerβs story was really fun to follow and I found them to be very likeable. I especially loved how the author wrote Savannahβs struggles (which I could relate to a lot) and Tyβs attempts to help her. You could see how both of them actually started to care about each other as they got closer.
Their relationship is probably one of the healthiest ones Iβve read about because they talked about their feelings and expectations, listened to each other and were both open to what the other one wanted, so that was very refreshing.
This also lead to there being no third act breakup (one of my most hated tropes ugh) because there was no unnecessary and ridiculous drama that couldβve been resolved had they just talked to each other. Instead there was open communication and support for each other.
Savannah is such a sweet fmc, sheβs loyal to a fault and shows this quiet sort of resilience as she navigates the struggles in her life.
Ty is such a cute boyfriend/husband, which was really refreshing since so many male leads end up being the biggest walking red flags youβve ever seen but he genuinely cared and was reflective of his behaviours. He helped Savannah wherever he could but was always cautious of coming off too strong and put a lot of thought into his actions and gifts which set him apart from many other male characters who often just do what they think is right without considering their significant others.
One of my favourite things next to the dreamy husband that is Tyler is how the author talked about struggles with mental health and eating disorders as something that can affect anyone and not something that one should be ashamed of. Same goes for therapy; it is just accepted that sometimes you just need to talk to a professional if you need help and thereβs nothing shameful about it.
The story was super fast paced and the writing supported that, which allowed me to breeze through this book in a day, so that was great. However, sometimes it felt a bit rushed and like things were resolved too quickly although that didnβt take away from my enjoyment.
My only two complaints are that some scenes felt a bit ridiculous and I was only so slightly cringing and that their romance felt very instalove-y (at least on Tyβs part) which Iβm not a huge fan of but that is on me.
Overall I genuinely enjoyed this book, it is a super quick read and Iβm definitely recommending it if youβre looking for a new sports romance.
Iβll definitely be picking up the first book later as well as waiting for a third book to come out.

This book is the second in Wilmington Football interconnected series which can be read as a stand alone, though I would recommend reading the first book because Kelsey is from the first book and is kind of an important part of this book tooβ¦
Savannah is in a miserable job, working as a cheer for the beavers but having endless rules and criticism to make her doubt about it all.
She thinks she isnβt sexy or so she is told by people around her so on the last day of Vegas she decides to let loose.
Tyler is told by his family that he is a fuck up and messed up the Devil brother but when he sees Savannah, he predictably makes bet on her.
A night of letting loose and spending tim, they wake up next day as husband and wife.
Now the deal is simple, he wants to stay married and act like they are dating to show his parents that he isnβt a fuck up and he would pay her for her dream business..
Now if you have read the first book you would know the condition of cheerleaders.. itβs FORBIDDEN for them to fraternise with the players but what happens when they have to show his family they are dating but for the rest of the world they donβt even know each otherβ¦
I loved that Tyler was her biggest cheerleader, supporting her in every way he could..
This book is it for people who love sports romance and fake dating but love the MMC calling her βmy wifeβ every moment he can..

* he falls first
* cheerleader/ football player
* Forbidden romance
* Dual pov
* No third act breakup
Mentions ED and panic attacks
Savannah is a cheerleader for the Wilmington Beavers, who is trying to be the best representation of the organization and make her mom proud of following in her footsteps.
Tyler is a wide receiver of the Wilmington Beavers, who constantly feels overshadowed by his brother and teammate and is made to feel inadequate in comparison.
During a night in Vegas the two meet at a club and break one of the major rules for a Beaver Cheerleader: no fraternizing with athletes. When Savannah wakes up the morning after her big night out she realizes she was married by an Elvis impersonator to a man who could ruin her career if word got out about their nuptials.
This book was a quick and easy read. Tyler was a golden retriever mmc who literally did everything in his power to help savannah.
one thing I couldnβt get past was the spill sesh they had on their wedding night. Apparently it was a pivotal moment between them and they told each other EVERYTHING from their deepest fears to their goals but it never gets expanded upon beyond its first mention. Since itβs the reason he falls so head over heels for her I needed more on like what was said to decide βyup I wanna get hitched in Vegas right nowβ.
