Slow start, but stick with it -- so engaging once you get in a bit!

Could do with less monologuing from VanHelsing.

“‘Devils or no devils, or all the devils at once, it matters not; we fight him all the same.’”

All the men in this book were in love with each other.
challenging tense medium-paced

J.D. Barker recommended reading Dracul then Dracula's Guest before reading Dracula. I am so glad I read in his suggested order!

¿Quién sufrió más: Lucy (se convirtió en vampiro y le atravesaron el corazón con una estaca) o yo (me tuve que leer este libro)?

The benchmark of vampire literature and a true example of Gothic horror. Perfectly creepy. Loved every second of this book, the story and characters will stay with me for a long time.
