Wow! Stoker saved the most intense moment for the very end! I hadn’t read this before and enjoyed comparing my collective pop culture ideas about Dracula and Van Helsing to the the original. Dracula is super creepy and powerful but also limited, Van Helsing is wise and endearing, faith in God triumphs over darkness and evil- all things I didn’t know were part of this book. It’s a good, interesting story and I liked the little group of crusaders that went up against a terrifying opponent!

*Also want to note that I listened to this one and the publisher is Duke Classics. The narrators were amazing!

Certainly of its time, but wildly fun. I read the Dracula Daily printing of the original text & enjoyed the little comments and fanart added in besides the AI generated ones that made it in 🤮
