Didn’t like the first book in the series too much but I thought I’d give the second a try because I want to like it so bad. It was just an overall hard read for me. Felt lengthy for what it was. Don’t know if I’ll continue the series after this one.

Destructively Mine was everything I wanted it to be. I devoured Dishonestly Yours and jumped right into this one. A series about two families of con artists? I’m so in. I love the world of the Graves and the Tinrocks, and how each family member has their part to play in the con. It was so much fun to be a fly on the wall and see how everything got planned and how they pull their schemes and deceptions off. Every single character in this book is complex, and I’m invested in all of them. But I’m obsessed with Rocky. The man could ruin my life, and I’d ask for more. He’s grumpy, protective, possessive, dangerous, morally grey, a little unhinged, and will do anything for the people he loves. This book is such a good time. It’s funny, suspenseful, filled with drama, lies, secrets, and betrayals, and has the best romance ever. I can’t recommend it enough. Definitely add it to your TBR!
Thank you to Berkley Romance, Berkley Publishing, Krista Ritchie & Becca Ritchie, and NetGalley for the ARC.

Thank you so much Valentine PR, PRH Audio and Netgalley for the chance to get the whole experience with this book. Narrators were Aaron Shedlock who was so perfect for Rocky and Carly Robins who was also a great fit. This was one I was really looking forward to. There is so much going on and I kept thinking about how it would all end up. I was completely invested in this story. Like, you know it is good if you keep thinking about it. I enjoyed how a lot of the relationships in this story could be considered unconventional and I am always there for that. I am so in awe of Phoebe and Hailey's relationship, I love a strong female bond. Rocky was such a different yet great character. It was so entertaining following his journey and how much he grew. I never knew what to expect from that man.
My biggest complaint was I wanted more at the end. I kind of sat there like.... is it over? Do we have a third book? I guess I was left with some questions. The conclusion was wonderful however I was left feeling like there was something missing, or maybe a few things I still need to know.

Incredible! The found family in this series just keeps getting better!
So in book two we continue on right from where book 1 left off (thank god) and the revelations and twists just kept coming in this one.
Plot wise it is a slower paced series, but with how well the characters are explored and developed it never felt slow for me. I would happily spend many mundane days on the couch with this bunch.
I LOVE LOVED the further development of Phoebe and Rocky’s relationship and the buddy friendship between Rocky and Jake is starting to feel reminiscent of Connor and Loren which I’m so here for.
In this book we got to see more of the dynamic between the other main characters as well and I can only hope that they’re are future books planned for other characters particularly to get some Hailey and Oliver POVs
And once again the ending of this one has left me HANGING for book 3

Cliffhanger
I am a huge fan of Krista and Becca Ritchie, I've been obsessed with their books since I started the Like Us series. And with all the I've other books read from them, no other book by them have hit my top three book by them. Destructively Mine just hit top three books by Krista and Becca and it might be my favorite book of the year and I read a lot. Personally I found book one in the Webs We Weave series, Dishonestly Yours, wasn't my favorite book. In retrospect I feel that all of book one was setting the stage for the beauty that is Destructively Mine, so I appreciate Dishonestly Yours a lot more now. Book one set up so many mysteries that were answered in Destructively Mine and it lead to even more mysteries and that cliffhanger, I literally screamed.
While I enjoyed the original core six players, Phoebe “the seductress”, Rocky “the silver tongue”, Hailey “the mastermind”, Nova “the getaway”, Oliver “the chameleon”, and Trevor “the psychopath”. The addition of Jake "the king" really rounded out the group and helped with the con they have planned. I've also enjoyed seeing all the love prospects for Hailey. We have the forger, Carter, that Hailey envisioned spending a crime filled life with, Oliver, the boy she grew up with and helps her process her emotions, and finally there is Jake, third son of a wealthy family who could offer her a normal life and gets her.
My favorite part of this book was all the banter between Phoebe and Rocky. From the start of the series we saw they "hated" each other and with that came just the best jabs and poles at each other. When they started their relationship those jabs didn't stop they just became more loving and gentler but still entertaining.
Honestly my least favorite part of this book is that I now have to wait for book three, Dangerously Ours.
