Writing a review because it's 2am and by brain is telling me to. I loved this based on vibes. Was it well written absolutely not. It was also a lot of setup for the next book which i'm especially excited about because we get to see the inside of Kolis court and the tropes at the end of the book is just my vibe. Love Seraphena although I have always loved the self sacrificing female types. Although the argument between her and Nyktos about her having no regard for her life did get old after the 10th time. I love the draken especially Jadis I want to see her more. Her interactions with Nekatas are everything. We finally got the full prophecy for the rest of the prequel series and then the main From Blood and Ash series. I love that they are all linked had a great time formulating which part refers to who and whats going to happen next. I also did realise that this book still didn't really have a plot till the last 100 pages though umm yeah.

Quickie review: 4.25-4.5 stars. This was really good. It was so long and angsty. Lots happened in the story. It was fast paced and I couldn't put it down. I like Sera, but she definitely has her flaws, a temper and is impulsive. Still, I love her and Ash together. There is a really good over-arching series storyline. And there was some OW drama that I did not like, but it turned out to be something else so I was satisfied. I wanted a bit more happy times and a declaration of love. I really hope these two get an HEA in the future. I love this series so much. This was definitely one of my favorite books this year.
