3 stars!

I just finished this and I'm disappointed that this isn't a new favourite.

I loved the premise and the story itself kept me interested, I thought everything just seemed very rushed in places and boring but I really liked the story and how it had Female warriors, greek gods and enemies to lovers romance but I wasn't blown away from it unfortunately.

I think it's good and I do reccomend it! It'll definitely be a book I'll reccomend when anyone asks for greek mythology recommendations.

This is one I wasn't expecting to like as much as I did, but the overarching story was so well done and so interesting that it hooked me. Andrews is a standout, and I'm definitely going to hunt for the sequel. Anyone who's seen my book list knows that mythology is one of my top themes, especially when it comes to Greek myths, so it should come as no surprise that I enjoyed this. The characters were awesome, Daphne one of my favourite protagonists in a while with her headstrong attitude. This is one where I wanted to see them succeed, no matter what the cost, and I have to say I can't wait for the next one.

I gave Circe the same number of stars. Interestingly enough I found I am not a fan of Greek mythology. I don't know if it's how the Gods treat humans or how cruel the Gods are to each other. I mean if you love a good dysfunctional family trope look no further than Mount Olympus. I will say the writing is outstanding and the interesting plot line. If I was more invested in Greek mythology I would definitely continue this series.

A fun retelling of traditional Greek stories blended together to create an engaging plot and characters. Liked that the romance wasn’t cut and dry and that the story was primarily focused on the journey.
