A perfect cozy mystery with a whole lot of Southern charm! Mae West begrudgingly rolls up to Happy Trails Campground because she's broke. Once she arrives and sees the damage her ex has done, she becomes determined to make amends for his wrongdoings, then high tail it out of there. Unfortunately, the campground & town are both filled with people her husband screwed over, and before you know it, there's a murder and Mae has to stick around to clear her name. This cozy mystery is a great read with the beginnings of what I know ends up being a super fun setting!
The origin story for the Happy Trails Campground {the setting for the Camper & Crinimals series} was a fun and fast read. I randomly picked up book 4 during the holidays last year and enjoyed it, so I finally cracked and decided to commit to starting the series from the beginning, and I think I'm really in for a treat {the 36th book in the series drops later this month}

This was just fun to listen too! The accent of the narrator made it more funny.

Cute, short read. Had the potential to be really good, but not everything seemed flushed out or finalized.
