Honestly such an effed up book. I’m not sure at all why Colleen added the part about Ben getting with his dead brothers wife and raising the son like his own, I mean it was a twist but how we’re we ever supposed to respect Ben again after that?? Besides the messed up dead brother situation, ben was wildly unlikeable, talking about Fallens panties the whole time as if it was a cute romance repetition, if I were Fallen I’d barf. All this kid cared about was fallen the entire book, his brother dies- “oh well, I wish I could’ve saw fallen on our anniversary”. His mom dies- “I’m so worried about fallen”. So unrealistic. Also, they were honestly together for like four days and the book pokes at how bizzare this is but really Colleen it is bizzare and unrealistic. Did Ben even love fallen or did he just need her to forgive him and be happy with him to forgive himself? That’s realistic. Also fallens dad sucked, she found out he didn’t cause the fire and that he was grieving during it so she gave him too hard of a time for all those years, but at the end of the day he still sucked, and fallen forgave him for all of it, makes no sense.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel.
Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year - November 9.
Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

The entirety of this novel takes place on the date November 9, across 6 different years. Personally, I love books that take place over a period of time, because it makes the novel feel more fast-paced.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster, and I was engaged right from the beginning. I know I can always count on the author Colleen Hoover to never disappoint, especially with romance fueled books. I feel like this was a book that was executed amazingly, with different point of views throughout the different years.
To be complretly honest, I did not love the characters as much as I thought I would. They were well developed and lovable, but I didn't seem to connect with them as I thought I would. I think this is because of how short this book was to me. It was about 250 pages, and I zoomed through it.
Nevertheless, 'November 9' is that kind of amazing book you need to experience for yourself, so I’m not going to give anything else away. I recommend this book to romance novel lovers and those who are in need of a quick read!

Loved this book ! it’s been a while that i’ve read a book that genuinely makes my heart shatter for the characters like my heart was pounding & ugh it was torture but in a good way ! wish we would’ve seen more about their relationship & how it blossoms but other than that I have nothing bad to say !

Wow okay I was not ready for this level of heartbreak. This was such a tough book to read, not only because I felt like it broke me but also because I read it with tears in my eyes for most of it.

This storyline is so heartbreakingly beautiful, it’s full of pain and sorrow and a love that’s almost indescribable, one of the best love stories I’ve ever read.

Every time I read a book by this author I think it’s my favourite, but I don’t know how any other book can top this one so this one takes the cake.

okay. I am not one for reviews. I'm too lazy to write anything down and I always just hope I will remember the feeling the book gave me when I'm done. I have no doubt in my mind this is will be one of my favorite books for probably the rest of my life. well okay maybe not. but definitely for 2022.
Colleen Hoover you're wicked. in the best way possible.
I was captured within the first sentence
I laughed a lot, smiled even more and then you took your claws and ripped my heart right out of my chest.
Then I finished reading and I decided I forgive you.

Okay this isn't really a review but rather me spewing out words because this book took me by surprise.. but that's not the right word to use because that's the biggest understatement but I can't think of any way to describe what I just went through

You made me fall madly in love with Fallon and Ben
You gave me a plot twist that shattered my soul
You picked up all the pieces and taped them back together

I suggest only reading when you have nothing else to do for the day or if your okay with cancelling plans.

THIS BOOK. This book at my roommate laughing at my facial expressions all day. I read this in one sitting because I have no self control. My emotions took a rollercoaster on this. Ben and Fallons relationship is one of the few I have read where I actually believe they are soulmates. I cant even fathom a clear enough thought for a review but this book was beautiful and soulful.
