I loved this book so much, it gave push and pull but the MMC remained consistent even when the FMC wasn’t sure about anything.
Neither character was weak however I did tire of the inner monologue of the FMC when it came to crisis.
Overall it was a book with a good plot and steam

This book was absolutely amazing!
I just loved Harley and Reed - the way Harley fell for him and the way he treated her, the banter, the spice, everything in between. Fake dating is one of my favourite tropes but I find that a lot of the time I don’t enjoy the way it is portrayed - I didn’t have that issue with this book(which is probably my favourite of the series!) and I really enjoyed reading their love story blossoming from (unlikely) friends to lovers in this way.
I also really enjoyed the way such a delicate subject matter was portrayed with what happened in Reeds background and the way Elle portrayed him and how he dealt with everything.
All in all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

I loved a lot of this book, but things started going downhill at about the 50% mark. One of my biggest issues in books is when the FMC or MC doesn't communicate with the other. I love Harley. I know she had good intentions, but after recieveing that threat, instead of TALKING to Reed, or fuck, even Stuart, she took off. Instead of going to people like Stuart who could actually help, she waited. Which caused a whole hell of a bunch of drama. I lost a lot of respect and admiration for her because of those choices. Am I glad she went to Griffin? Yes, of course I am. But why did she go to Griffin and leave Stuart and Reed out of it? It makes no sense.
My other big issue is why was there so much sex? Omg! It was so repetitive. It was an every other page thing after about the 40% mark. Then the 3 epilogues were unnecessary again because it was nothing but sex!!! I love smut as much as the next person, but when it's repetitive and causes the overall plot and story to drag, it annoys me. There wasn't a reason for it. Had the repetitive scenes been cut down, the book would have easily been 150 pages shorter, which would have made the book so much better.
Now, I did love how the author took such hard subjects and made them come to light. What happened to Reed is just awful and not nearly talked about enough! I'm so proud of the author for taking this stance and writing and POWERFUL male character that went through something horrific and came out stronger with help. I'm so glad Reed opened up to Harley and to the city when he was ready. The fact that after he spoke out, more came foward. It wasn't the resolution I wanted in epilogue 3, but it's unfortunately accurate to what happens. The guilt, self-doubt, hate, and promiscuity are all very real consequences to SA. The author did a great job in describing all aspects of SA and the consequences.
Harley had my love and respect for most of this book. She's an amazing supporting girl for Reed. I'm so glad she fought for Reed and didn't let him go under. She stood by his side, listened, and supported him. Do I wish she would have gone to Reed first? Yes, but I'm glad that it all got resolved. What Bea did and revealed disgusts me. I hate her so much because it's people like her and the other 2 that makes both men and women not want to come forward!!! She didn't get nearly what she deserved. But I'm glad some justice was shelled out.

A lot of this book was unnecessarily long and dragged on for far to long, the spice was fire and very well written though and I’m adding Reed Walker to my list of book bf‘s, but Harley really got on my nerves. She’s very insecure and a lot of conflict could 100% be avoided if she just talked to him about it…

The miscommunication break-up was a) ridiculous b) stupid and c) annoying.
The whole book dragged and Harley got more annoying with every page, she started off as pretty good, but then just jumps from one stupid conclusion to the next, it was infuriating and I couldn't take it anymore
