Carissa Broadbent writes so beautifully it is a genuine pleasure to read her books. I spent at least 10% of this book crying and at least 60% of this book wondering how there could possibly be a happy ending when chaos is raining from the skies. If you haven't read this series you are missing out

Carissa never misses for me. This was the perfect end to Mische and Asar's love story. Asar may be the most down bad man I have ever read. Seeing all of the characters in this book just felt so fun and special. The thing I love most about Carissa's books is I really feel like I know these characters and I feel so emotionally invested in their stories. I would die to read that letter, iykyk. This story was truly an epic adventure.
I am SO pumped for the next duet.
I will be rereading this series forever.

I love how she is writing these as a duel series. It makes it easy to focus on the development of the story and the characters. Not to mention the world she is building along with the story! I enjoyed this set more than the first. Waiting for the next installment is going to seem like forever.
