I usually love a good age gap romance, but this one was a little too cringy for me. I hope I never have to read the phrase “little queen” ever again. HOWEVER I did enjoy the writing and overall plot, so I would definitely pick up another Grace Callaway book in the future…just maybe not an age gap one.

Good story line and a very steamy one

A really good story line ! Very steamy and H/h chemistry were remarkable! I love every minute! Another full marks from Grace Callaway.

It started out well, independent feisty MC, investigative agency. But then just felt drawn out. Was surprisingly steamy. Wanted to like it more but it was only ok.

4.5 stars for the historical version of Charlie's Angels!

Lady Olivia McLeod, the daughter of Duke and Duchess of Strathaven, along with her best friends, Lady Glory Cavendish and Miss Fiona Garrity are considered to be quite a unique trio, very spirited and quite unlike their fellow debutantes of the ton.

Twelve year old Livy meets Ben Wodehouse, the "infamous" Duke of Hadleigh a day before Hogmanay when her adventure ends up putting her life at risk. Hadleigh saves her and captures her heart. From thereon begins the tale of Livy's and Hadleigh's deep friendship that helps them pave through thick and thin. But Livy wishes for more.

My first book by Grace Callaway and I'm hooked already. I didn't know I needed a little bit of suspense in my historical romance until this book came along. I'm hoping for more enthralling cases in the upcoming books.
And I'm definitely very, very happy with the smut in this book. I can't believe that this was in a historical novel.

I had fun but also some of it was crazy and the age gap is really something I could only enjoy in a book
