A good read, although slightly long winded. There was suspense and in places you just wanted to shout at the characters for being so proud or not seeing people/situations the right way, it comes to life.

I have read this book several times and find it a nice easy read.

The book is about Nicky, a primary school who is facing a promotion, joint with an ex that she still has feelings for. I really liked Nicky and liked the chemistry between her and Mark. Her relationship with Rob was very one sided and Rob wants to get ahead in any way, even if it is by messing with Nicky's head.

I love this read and love Miss James who I find quirky and funny. This is definitely a nice easy Rom com that I recommend xx

good comic relief and very relatable for me personally about being career driven women. Although some pages i did have to skim over because i found the characters thoughts abit annoying. Overall a great read

There's a bit of a slow start to this one for sure, and a lot of frustrating moments. But it was worth reading twice that's for sure. It gets to the heart of a lot of things especially the differences between men and women in the workplace and at home.

This book is pretty awful. The main character is stupid and annoying, the various love interests are stupid and annoying. The writing is sloppy and there's about 9 pages of 'tell' to 1 page of 'show'.

I read this with a friend as a sentimental thing because we'd read 'The Nanny' years ago while we were in school, and were hoping this one would be fun. But having read this, I'm now afraid that The Nanny was also pretty crappy and I'm just fond of it because I've forgotten what the writing is like :(

I read the first chapter of this book and then didn't go back to it for months because I was put off by the entire paragraph describing the main character putting make-up on. I receieved this as a Christmas present from a friend who didn't know that I'd stopped reading chick-lit. It was an okay read, but I didn't find the main character as relatable as the one in 'The Waitress.'
