I loved the first book in this series, but I could not get into the main romance hinted to in this book.
I also felt that the plot at some points completely lost its way.

I did not think that the plot or the writing did enough to make the main romance make sense. Nox and Amaris had a beautiful sisterly bond in the beginning which made it feel abrupt and a little uncomfortable when they got together. I’m all for queer romance representation, but I found myself disappointed and am now reluctant to rush to the next book despite LOVING the characters and enjoying the plot, imagery, and dialogue.

I thought this was a fabulous continuation of book one. I am loving how the characters develop and how you gradually find out about Nox and Amaris, I can’t wait for part three.
