3.5 rounding down. This started out pretty solid and I really enjoyed it, but the book completely deflated once we learn for sure who the killer is. The first part is so FUN, but the book fails at transitioning from whudinnit to psychological thriller.

are MY JAM and I would've been all over it on paper but the execution really lacks the depth to live up to the premise.

loved the atmosphere and this was a fun mystery. a little too much info about the company that i don't care about - plus i thought the company was going to be used in a more creative way and it wasn't. i didn't connect with any of the characters which is typical for how i feel about ruth ware books.
