3 stars. It was okay— a quick read and atmospheric, but the author gave away some clues too early/obvious, so that took away from the Christie-whodunit aspect.

This was an interesting short read, I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a really good job. The story itself was so fascinating , but i was not a big fan of the ending and kinda predicted it. I knew it would be either erin or liz, because of the pov in the story and was not surprised to find out that it was liz because it was too pretentious. like who would not care about 15 mil dollars, that is just fake lol. you can be a saint but still want that kind of money.  erin and danny were really fun characters ttho, and i want to eat the food made by danny. the other characters like eva, topher, anne, and all were not that memoriable, they were your typical rich douche bags. a fun read!

A little slow to start, but then I was unable to put it down!

A few months ago I listened to The Guest List. I was surprised in the beginning of this book by how similar the 2 are. I almost thought there might have been issues for Ruth Ware because they were eerily similar in the first 10 chapters, but by chapter 15 it was a completely different story.

I loved how Ruth Ware laid the groundwork for the story that kept you second guessing yourself until the end of the book. As soon as the action picked up I was constantly changing who I thought was the murderer, even while having rather large hints dropped. This was my favorite Ruth Ware book, so far! So so good!
