A sweet fairly light queer sci-fi romance with spice, time travel, super heroes, shapeshifting, and dragons. This was a fun warm-hearted read. It’s the first in a trilogy, but this is a complete novel. I believe the books in the ‘series’ are all in the same universe, but each is a complete story. I wasn’t keen on the law enforcement aspect, but in this book it really only presents as ‘good’ super heroes going after ‘bad’ super villains, so I was able to sort of ignore the ACAB feelings that kept trying to push forth. Over all, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a bit of light escapism. I’ve already bought book 2.

LOVED the premise, but was kinda meh about everything else.  Insta-love in romance bores me, so this story was at a huge disadvantage (where I’m concerned anyway).
The overarching story is interesting, so worth reading for that, I guess, but pretty ‘whatever’ overall
