This is a great “Origins” story but should not be read until after you read book five.

1. It would give spoilers for books 1-5
2. The story just wouldn’t be very entertaining if you don’t already know the major players in it.

But once you have read book 5 you should love this story.

I'm intrigued, but the audiobook left something to be desired. Seemed a bit flat but I'm curious enough to want to delve a little deeper before passing judgment.

On the one hand, I liked reading how the team came together. On the other, it was hard at times to keep track of where in the timeline we were exactly.

Interesting short intro tale to the St. Mary's series.

Give me the next book!

Ok. I’m hooked. If the rest of the series is anything like this prequel, I am in for the long-haul. Good thing it is Christmas break and I have nothing to do but read
