This is my first time reading a crime book that focuses on the whydunnit, where we know the victims and murderer early on in the story, than the usual whodunnits. The way this story unraveled captivates me as we start with foggy memories of the main character, then proceed to his searching for the truth that relates to the tragedy that happened in his childhood. This story focuses more on the character study, but the plot still grips me.
The chapters are long, around 70+ pages each and it is written in narrations more than dialogues, so it is a bit tedious to read. Hence, minus 1 star.

Esse livro é bem mais que interessante, eu achei que ficaria mais “chocada”com o que tinha acontecido, mas acho que lá no fundo eu estava esperando.
Custou pra mim acreditar que ele tinha matado o próprio irmão e isso sim me custou acreditar. A leitura flui muito bem, com detalhes precisos e um sentimento de curiosidade e agonia ficam lado a lado, gostei de ter tido essa experiência.
