Buku ini salah satu buku dengan genre psychology thriller dan mystery terbaik yang pernah aku baca. Meskipun alurnya agak lambat, Jeong You-Jeong bisa bikin kita terbawa dengan suasana tegang yang diciptakan si Aku dalam cerita. Klimaks dan ending cerita juga dikemas dengan baik. Aku sebagai pembaca bener-bener dibiking ngang-ngong pas namatin buku ini like seriously? Haejin ended up like that? Tapi agak puas juga karena kalo si Aku ketangkep, citra The Good Son-nya ga akan masuk dan nempel ke title.

I've seen some mixed reviews for this book, and I can understand why. Tbh, I enjoyed reading this book. I was not expecting much, and it turned out to be an interesting and a solid read for me.

I enjoyed this psychological thriller. It had the perfect ingredients for a gripping tale! It was a mystery, suspenseful, a thriller, and throughout reading it, I felt on the edge of my seat! The complex relationship between the protagonist and his mother, has an interesting twist, and I am glad that the author helped us understand that not all was as it appears. The question was left open (for me anyway )whether Yu Jin was a product of his mother's actions or whether his mother's actions were a product of his. I could not put this book down and the ending left me wanting more, so I am hoping for a sequel!!!
