What a story! The way the magic was used was so cool. I love a story with different creatures too. Wish I had seen more of them though. The characters were so fun. The way the story was told and how it went together was so fun. Enjoyed this.

no soy de leer este tipo de libros porque no me gusta mucho pero este libro es bonito y en cierta forma me atrapó, solo que habían partes que no me gustaban ya que hablaban de sangre, huesos rotos y esas cosas y me da mucha impresión. Me gustó como el final conecta con el inicio haciendo que sea una historia en bucle. No es el tipo de libro que yo diría “quiero volver a leerlo” pero tampoco es como que no lo volvería a leer.

I don't even know what happened or what I read or what's going on, just that I'm legit confused. This was a story within a story within a story or more like a dream within a dream within a dream or maybe I should just say another version of Inception that was more confusing than the movie. The writing was different and that was a strength, but as the story progressed the lines between reality and dreams and fiction blurred to the point where I was edging towards a schizophrenia twist, but that was obliterated after the 60% mark. I struggled to finish this late in the early morning hours because I wanted to finally be finished so I could move on to something that made more sense and didn't hurt my head so here we are. Thanks NetGalley for the ARC; this was an interesting one.

DID NOT FINISH: 13%

I didn't make it all that far into the book, but I just... didn't really care. There wasn't anything that was really connecting me to the characters and while the setting had a slighty eerie vibe, it just did nothing for me.
