I didn’t expect to like this so much. I read it out of curiosity. Like who is this Colleen person everyone’s talking about. I thought the book was gonna be some trashy entertainment. I couldn’t put it down. Trashy entertainment or not. A book that you physically cannot put down is a five star read.

I couldn't book this down (which suprised me) I read it in a matter of hours.
The writer did a great job of exploring a very heavy subject in a creative way.

Q: To what extent would you love someone?

It Ends With Us is a powerful and moving novel about a woman named Lily whose past and present collide with devastating effects. Ryle, Lily’s new boyfriend, seems like everything you’d want in a partner but when Atlas, a blast from the past, returns to Lily’s life whose true colours will shine? Will Lily be able to see Ryle for who he is or will she be blinded by love?
-
Oh my god. This book is amazing. I understand the hype, I get it now. It’s so perfectly written and so beautifully paced. I loved everything about this book, apart from Ryle. I hate him so much. So much. However, you can definitely see what power love has on a person. Atlas is a baby and deserves the world and I cannot wait for this to be made into a movie because I think it will be great! Definitely 5/5 and I cannot wait to read more by Colleen, the queen!

“It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us.”
I don't know who needs to hear this BUT THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE BOOK. No matter how you try to see it. It’ll be never a romance fiction or anything like that and I’m scared for all those teenagers who started their reading journey in romance books with this book. And I think it’s not their fault because so many people have romanticized this book on bookstagram and I get why people read this and also loved this. I also liked it but for me it was not the romance part. Hell there was NO ROMANCE PART IN THIS.
It was about the journey of Lily to finally break the pattern of domestic abuse and to finally have her life without any abuse and manipulations. And it was also not about Atlas and his blue eyes and how amazing his cookies are.
I loved this book when I first read it and I still do, but just not as much as I did an year ago because I didn't explore the romance genre much then, so I just gave this 5 stars thinking it was an amazing book but now that I think about the story, there were many things that I didn’t like about this book but I ignored them because of the ending and the last 30% of this book which was actually good and I loved it and even cried while reading the hospital scene
