Motivational book with good overall advice on preventing what the authors say is decay of the body not aging.
I would advise younger women to read this book, so that they don't have to wait until the older to benefit. It pretty much encourages you to stay active and take care of yourself even when you think you are over the hill (lol). It was an easy read and a little humor added to it, so it would not be so dry.
If you need a kick in the pants to get your exercise routine going, this is the book for you. At times it reads like a high school cheerleader wrote the darned thing. But it does the job at making the case for exercising. Every day you don't put in a hard workout, your body declines. The older you get, the more this is true.
357 pages telling me to exercise. I especially enjoyed the chapters about the biochemical effects of exercise.
