It was a great book, and while the prologue put me a little off guard, I loved Deanna's struggle with her desires and whether she needed to go and save Annie or she should stay and continue the life that she's lived for three years. The way that it was revealed that she really couldn't kill as easily as she had dreamed. She knew all of the ways to take a life, but lacked the physical capabilities, and for that I loved the book. It showed that not everything that we think is possible.
