Lady Thor saves the day from a man who can turn into a minotaur and crazy greedy people. Jane Foster had a thing with Sam?! Mjolnir is a trapped goddess?!

While I enjoyed the origin story of Mjolnir, the rest I was a bit disappointed by. I felt like the stories focused on every character, except Mighty Thor. I keep waiting for her to be this bad ass and she just keeps falling short of my expectations. Too much time was focused on Dario Agger, his henchmen, and his kidnapping. I was just expecting more from Thor. I’m hoping the next one is better.

My favourite sub-plot is the SHIELD agents who think Jane is faking dying of cancer and everyone being like "YOU IDIOTS LEAVE HER ALONE" and Jane just being like... "You realize you can't scare me, right?"

While I really enjoyed the first book in the Goddess of Thunder series, this one was just boring, probably because she was hardly in it! It was all the villains plotting some overly-complicated world domination blah blah zzzzzzzzzz snore.

Next time, MORE THOR!

Apparently, a comic about a female Thor still requires about 1/3 of it to be about the previous Thor (aka Thunderboy). The backstory was interesting, but I question whether it was necessary to have 21 pages dedicated to basically saying Loki can turn henchmen into near-Hulks with some dragon blood. Look, it only took me half a sentence!
S.H.I.E.L.D. is spending a lot of energy trying to prove that Jane Foster is the new Thor, and they're kind of huge jerks about it. The war continues, but this volume mostly focuses on bad guys warring with each other. We do get a nice little surprise at the end & learn more about the history of Mjolnir. I've enjoyed these & am looking forward to seeing what happens....
