And just like that, Oliver's relationship takes the top spot in my Bergman's in relationships list.
Oliver and Gavin are just absolutely everything. Chloe Liese's ode to Ted Lasso is obvious in this book, and a Ted/Jamie x Roy Kent relationship is something I didn't know I needed, but I am THRILLED to have received it.
I'm not surprised this book stole my heart, becuase this book contains a lot of my favorite tropes and microtropesgrumpy x sunshinge, age gap, a wise old mentor in the form of Mitchell, an ex that the group can collectively hate, neighbors, some solid forced proximity, one bed, a grand romantic gesture, the list goes ON AND ON.
I loved getting to know the real Oliver in this book. He's always been one of my favorite Bergman's, so supportive of his siblings and clearly wanting to hope for the best and look on the bright side of things, but I really enjoyed seeing that fall a little bit and watching him figure out how to deal with some of the less positive emotions he feels. Also, his cheese obsession is so relatable. I also LOVED the moments when he refused to back down and stood up for what he wants. I also loved that we still got the Oliver vs. Viggo pranks in this book butthat Oliver and Gavin also started their very own prank war. Adorable.
The final confession, both through the press conference and by showing up at the A frame is absolutely everything I could have ever wanted from Oliver and Gavin getting together. 600000/10. Very much loved it.

love my bergman’s. gavin & ollie’s story is a win everytime.
An avid fan of the Bergman Brothers series/Chloe Liese, I've been looking forward to "Everything for You" for months. The youngest "man cub's" story was bound to be entertaining.
It was fun, to a degree, but, quite honestly, it read too much like Ted Lasso fan fiction. Gavin is a much less charming Roy Kent. Oliver's anxiety is a funhouse mirror version of Ted's- but it makes less sense.
There are dozens of nitpicky character behavior with the rest of the Bergman family and their significant other's that had me wrinkling my nose and saying, "Mmm...no. That doesn't track." Those little incongruities added up to one frustrated reader.
There were highlights- of course there were! The away game hotel scene? Loved it. Oliver's charm? On point. This quote that I felt deep in my soul: "Can we just let Leslie Odom Jr. sing the shit out of this song and sound like sex in a voice box?" YAAASSSSSS!!! There were glimmers and glints of the Chloe Liese I've come to adore, but this is the first time one of her books fell flat.
