I found the character arcs the weakest in this book.

A lot of the dialogue didn’t feel realistic and the characters are very gay men writen throug a female lens. Also threes fingers as light foreplay????

I really enjoyed getting know Oliver in this one.
I didn’t connect to it as much as the others but loved the grumpy meets sunshine, one bed/forced proximity, enemies to lovers tropes and how they played out.
The negatives for me were that I thought it was a bit dramatic, a bit cheesy, and had lots of soccer (which I don’t really love).

There was literally nothing I did not like about this book. With the Bergman Brothers series, Chloe Liese has created a family and a world that I could read about every day for the rest of my life.

Oliver has always been one of my favorites. He's one half of the mancubs that prank the family and keep everyone on their toes with constant antics. He's found his love match and his complete opposite in Gavin, the grumpy to Olivers sunshine. Have I said how much I love grumpy/sunshine love stories?! I was touched at how supportive Gavin was during Olivers panic attacks, how he just knew how to be there for him. I enjoyed how near the end of the book both Oliver and Gavin talk openly about their pasts, how they are honest about therapy and their fears and how they love each other even harder after all that is revealed.

I really hope to see them get a little family of their own after seeing how good they are with Lenny and Theo.
