Oliver and Gavin are cute, but why did everything just happened by the end of the book? The first half or even three quarters were good too, but nothing really happened tbh

I liked this but probably my least favorite Bergman book. Oliver was just TOO sunshine for my taste. I just didn’t buy into their relationship as much as the other ones. I also was not a fan of the time jump. It didn’t seem to be handled well at all. This was still good but not my favorite.

Also holy spice

A grumpy poetry reading veteran soccer player and a sunshine anxiety ridden junior player.

What’s not to love.

“He grins, and fuck, I can’t look. It’s a real grin, soft and crooked, not that megawatt shit he shows the world. It feels intimate and personal and so impossibly lovely I want to wrap my hands around that smile and slip it inside my pocket, and fucking hell, I really, really need to stop reading poetry.”

Roy x Jamie fanfic

The two boys had a great banter and I was happy to see them get together. When I was reading this I couldn't help but imagine Roy Kent as the love interest. It really fits.
It was nice. 4/5

I have been thoroughly engrossed in the Bergman siblings’ stories for the last few weeks, and it has felt like the coziest welcome into their world. These books have the perfect amount of trope, heart, humor and spice. This fifth installment has to be my favorite, because my Ted Lasso/Roy Kent obsessed soul LIVED for the connection between Oliver and Gavin. Can’t wait for the next two books!!
