Everything For You

This latest Bergman siblings book was utterly tropetastic and made me feel ALL THE FEELS!!!

You need to add this to your TBR if any of the following things excite you:

- grumpy/sunshine
- age gap
- sports romance
- only one bed
- slow burn
- enemies to lovers
- open door
- anxiety + chronic pain rep
- tons of Encanto and Hamilton references

Plus LOTS of Bergman sibling antics, new Bergman babies, TWO Bergman weddings and plenty of A-frame sexy times!

This book truly is another fantastic addition to the series. Hotshot Oliver is a rising professional soccer player who grew up crushing on Gavin, a veteran player dealing with chronic pain and the knowledge that this could be his last season. The two get named co-captains and have to learn to work together for the sake of the team.

Each of these men fight hard against their attraction for one another but ultimately give in after a delicious slow burn build up. I adored Gavin's septuagenarian poker buddy friends and just how vulnerable these two characters are able to get with one another.

If you love books with great depth and highly relatable characters you cannot do better than a Chloe Liese book! Highly recommended and all the stars! Much thanks to NetGalley and the author for my advance review copy!!

I love this whole series, looking forward to the next book

I love the Bergman series! Chloe is my favorite romance author! The best of the tropes, great characters, the slow burns… love these.

I really adored Oliver and Gavin. I will read this again in the future.

Keep them coming Chloe!

Super cute! I had put down the Bergman brothers series for a while and I’m so glad that this was the next one I needed to read in the series. Oliver and Gavin are so lovable. Fans of Ted Lasso will enjoy this, considering Gavin is basically Roy Kent.

Everything for You by Chloe Liese is the fifth book in the Bergman Brothers series. This is Oliver’s story and the book starts right after he joins the Galaxy, a professional soccer team. We open with Gavin who decides that he hates Oliver at first sight…but we all know what that really means. Then we jump ahead four years Gavin still hates Oliver. And their coach names them team co-captains.

I enjoy a good enemies to lovers, the one thing I wish this story had more of was a little bit of what Oliver and Gavin’s early relationship as teammates was like. I needed just a little more of that ‘animosity’ between them, like when Gavin found out that he lives next to Oliver! The universe works in it’s mysterious ways.

While you can read this as a stand alone, I don’t recommend that because there are little nuggets of information about the future books. I enjoyed connecting the dots when we got to that sibling’s book. Plus we have a four year jump, so we get to see where all the characters are in their relationships.

Read this if you like:
⚽️ Enemies to lovers
⚽️ Grumpy x sunshine
⚽️ Forced proximity
⚽️ Only one bed

This book aaahhh big happy sigh. It was just absolutely perfect. I don’t know if I have the proper words to review its perfection but I’ll try. It just had everything - all the best tropes (enemies to lovers at its finest and honestly the best one bed trope scene I’ve ever read). And Oliver and Gavin felt so real like their insecurities, their desires, their goals, their love. The way Oliver talked about his anxiety going through loud and not so loud periods and the beautiful way Gavin and their teammates supported Oliver when he had panic attacks. Gaaahh. Just everything about them I could relate to, and they made me feel everything they were feeling. The tension between them was sizzling from the beginning, and their relationship was just heart warming. Also Roy Kent absolutely had to be the inspiration behind Gavin because each and every “Oi” was perfection, and Tim Paige, the audiobook narrator, performed brilliantly.

I really didn’t think Chloe Liese could spit out another book that I would love as much as With You Forever but she proved me so wrong. Absolute masterpiece. I cannot wait for Ziggy and Viggo’s book (Viggo already feels like the other half of my soul).

My absolute favourite from this series ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
