i really will eat up anything this woman writes and it is what it is. i recognize there are issues as laid out by other reviewers, but i was giggling in public reading this book and that alone makes this a fabulous book in my eyes. every single book in this series makes me sigh into the distance wishing i had a family that would take me in like the bergmans
Liese creates authentic characters who have real struggles and conflicts which makes her books real! The opposition of the grump versus a sunshine in this enemies to lovers trope is very well done. It’s easy to relate to both characters as complex characters, both with lovable personalities. Their chemistry is also solid, with a constant tension that was super intense. The tension between the two characters made it difficult to put the book down because I was waiting for the moment it would climax and break. This is clearly a love letter to Ted Lasso and one written extremely well!
I’ve been waiting for this to release for months. my first m/m romance.
"You're the fucking sunrise of my heart, love."
That's it. That's all I have to say.

I was so excited to see a MM story at my local bookstore. This book was the whole reason I started the Bergman Brothers series. I was so keen to read Oliver’s story. Maybe that is the reason I felt a bit bummed reading this. I built it up in my mind. I loved the Grumpy/Sunshine trope, I laughed at the Enemies-to-Lovers banter and antics, but that quickly shifted to this behind-the-door relationship that I just didn't believe.
Where was Gavin’s back story? It was mentioned, but it sounded like something that could have been explored more. Instead, we got snippets here and there and then it was discussed right at the end of the story. I think introducing it earlier would have made a difference.
I eye-rolled my way through the last two chapters. I could not connect with all the fluffy words. All the “I love you’s” were kind of overdone in my opinion.
I still gave this book three stars, but I think that’s because I’ve already got a strong connection with the series so far. I’m so sad to say that this was my least favourite in the series.

Not as much character development as some of the others but still sweet! Excited to read the last of the series next year when it comes out. And glad I found Chloe Liese this year.
Very cute. Love the family and characters are usual. Nothing super exciting but good times. I’m just (im)patiently waiting for Viggo story

As always, Chloe Liese has provided us with a swoony, steamy romcom that manages to make you laugh on one page and punch you in the feels on the next. She never disappoints and my only regret is reading this in less than 24 hours i stead of savouring it.
