I was looking forward to this book because. I love a good second chance romance book and JLA never disappoints with her books.

Brock and Jillian's story was so much more than a second chance "romance". It was a second chance at being best friends. A second chance at being with the one person who go you to your very core. A first chance in being with that person heart and soul.

Growing up, Brock and Jillian were a lot of things to each other, but they never crossed the line and became romantic. Jillian my have been in love with him, but Brock ensured he never crossed that line with her. Too much was on the line for him, personally. He'd found a family with Jillian's. He found a careers in training at Lima Academy. And he had his best friend in Jillian. He wasn't willing to lose any of that by sleeping with her and screwing it up. But what he had with Jillian was ultimately screwed up and they needed to figure out a way to work past that and remember exactly why they were so close to begin with.

I loved these two together. Brock brought levity to Jillian's life. She was too serious, too down on herself. She needed Brock to help her learn to live again. She may not have seen that, immediately, and couldn't see past the hurt Brock had caused her, but her eventually pushed past her walls and proved to her that she was worth every it to him. He proved to her that he'd grown up and despite what she thought, had always seen her.

This was a great ending to the Wait for You series. Each one of these characters had an inner strength that was enviable and while at the same time being completely likable. Brock and Jillian were no exception. Brock didn't come off as the superstar UFC fighter he was, instead he was approachable, funny and so in love with Jillian it made you a little jealous.

This was ok

Wasn't my favorite but still enjoyed it. I liked the characters and storyline but i mostly found myself feeling sorry for her. I enjoyed revisiting the other characters. The series as a whole was awesome. Would recommend

Mi guardò mentre usciva dal parcheggio in retromarcia.
"C'ero quasi riuscito."
Lo guardai confusa. "A fare cosa?"
"A farti sorridere."

I have little to say about this book, but the main thing is: Jennifer L. Armentrout never fails. As always, and as all the books in this series, with her extraordinary writing style, she leaves you something inside. I have to say I really like Jillian. One of those typical girls, full of insecurities, but at the same she's able to stand up for herself when she needs to. I recommend this book .... I recommend all the series ... and also all the other books by Jennifer Armentrout. = P

“I love you because you have this fire in you that you don't even recognise, but I do. You're strong and you're a survivor.”

Worst hero ever!! The story would have been okay if Armentrout knocked Brock down a few pegs. Made him actually fight for Jillian. But nope. She pretty much stayed wrapped around his fingers the entire book. I wanted to see Jillian really grow outside of Brock's shadow but that never happened. He just strolled in and took what he wanted and gave nothing in return because that's the way it has always been with those two. She gave him her all, took care of him when he was hurt but when she needed him because she was shot in the face, he chose another woman. Even tho her hurt was indirectly his fault. At no point in the story did I feel that he actually loved her. His ex girlfriend summed his feelings up perfectly... guilt. That’s all he felt for Jillian. This whole plot was based on guilt. If guilt was a genre this book would belong there not in romance. . With the help of Jillians family Brock manipulates Jillian into letting him back into her life and she goes along with it because she has no backbone. Her mom, dad and uncles conspired against her. It’s disgusting. Unlike Armentrout to write such a selfish, coward of a hero but alas.

Carino.
