An array of nice thoughts and scenes and feelings from our beloved Dark Materials universe
Beautifully packaged, light on content, but some nice tidbits.
Would’ve been peeved had I paid £13 for it. £6 still felt a bit much.

This companion piece to Pullman's most popular works is fantastic and full of emotional tidbits that made me happy and fearful in the span of mere sentences. I miss Lyra, and her worlds.
It's His Dark Materials so of course it's great, but it is a bloody rip off which is why I dropped a star. Beautiful little book, though.
Just get on with book 3 of Dust now, please, it's been years already.

I never thought I'd ever give a dark materials tie in book a low score but slowly these short stories have gone from a quick five minutes to a small collection of scrap thoughts on a page, they dont add to the story, they dont make me feel anything extra, it feels like a phillip pullman notebook accidentally got shredded and fell into a nice book cover
These are tiny bits of His Dark Materials that wound up on the cutting room floor. Some are literally only one sentence or two. None longer than a few paragraphs. For a series devotee like myself, it was worth listening to but I would not recommend it to anyone else. Then a mediocre interview with PP. it seems a bit greedy to package these odds and ends off as a book and sell it.

Some interesting paragraphs and tidbits here. A venture into a different style of storytelling structure. However not nearly enough content to justify publishing as a physical or even as an ebook, if it's not free. Feels like the kind of thing you would read on an author's blogpost for no charge, instead it becomes a seedy cashgrab.

A nice little read but little is a very key word
