after about the 30% mark, the story picked up, and the story got more interesting. also, i absolutely LOVED the communication between lark and wyatt! this book didn’t give “wow”, but it was decent story and had one of my favorite tropes. i’ll most likely be checking out the rest of the series when published.

Maybe because I've tired myself out of contemporaries, but this one is so forgettable. Grumpy Sunshine, girl gives up all her dreams, she does the labor and he gets to be famous. The usual, nothing special or uniquely them. I don't care for either character, or any character, and I couldn't even remember the title as I was still reading it.
