You know when you start one of this author's books that you're in for a feel-good story, one with romance, some spice and of course, a little drama. This story was no exception and I enjoyed it, as usual!

Ex-nfl star, and single dad, Wyatt, and a wannabe actress, Lark, wind up living right near each other temporarily, over the Summer. Lark is terribly accident prone, and avoiding Wyatt while she's in ridiculous situations, just doesn't happen in a small town like this one.

Lark made me laugh, and Wyatt, though I guess he was technically the grump to her sunshine, was super sweet at times. The love languages part, especially. There was some great banter between them, and many awkward moments, making it such fun to read.

I'd love to learn about the other characters in the town, too. You could see some potential matches as you read. I'm intrigued.

This book was phenomenal and an amazing start to a new series by Lena Hendrix! This grumpy/sunshine, small town, slow burn, single dad romance had me hooked from the first page and Daddy Wyatt was chef’s kiss! I loved the connection Wyatt and Lark had. Their chemistry, banter, and relationship was perfect. One Look had all the small town vibes, dirty talk, drama and romance I’ve come to expect in a Lena Hendrix book and I loved every minute of it!

The narration for the audiobook by Sebastian York and Charlotte North was perfect! I was swooning, blushing, and laughing out loud listening to Wyatt and Lark come to life! I loved every moment of this audiobook and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

I absolutely loved this storyline, Wyatt and Lark’s story was amazing. The way that the author brought the two characters together was so different, but it made for such a good story. I loved picking up the book to read more and found it so hard to put down! She also did an amazing job adding in the spicy scenes, I loved them details and how she played it all out, I cannot wait to read more!
