This was such a fun read/listen! It had me laughing out loud. It’s a great twist for a rom com and the setting is so refreshing for the genre. I’d love to see it as a movie!

This book was just amazingly good fun - personally I don't think that I can rate this higher than 3 star, but that does not diminish my enjoyment of the reading experience. The book follows a young woman who goes on a blind date set up by her mother, and on the way home she causes an accident which kills her date. She immediately asks for help from her mother and 3 aunties who swoop in to help cover up the crime, and what follows is a hilarious, farsical and ludicrous plot which has you laughing out loud for most of the way through the book.

Despite how enjoyable this was, it was very much a comedy with not a huge amount of depth, which was absolutely fine for what I needed at the time. The romance was a little simple, but as it was not the primary focus of the book it did not overly bother me. I did LOVE the aunties, along with the different sisterly squabbles and vendettas that accompany such a close-knit family. But I would definitely read another book by the author in the future.
